Members, who are considered non-credit students at the College of Charleston, are eligible for:
- Weekly meetings from September through May
- Smaller in-depth study groups
- Some off-site meetings
- CCR newsletters
- Field trips to historical and cultural sites
Retirees often continue to use a pre-retirement financial plan – such as asset accumulation – and find that it no longer fits their fiscal needs. However, alternatives can be more complicated, and retirees may struggle to understand the particulars, or feel unsure as to whom they can trust. Designed for retirees 65-75 years of age, College of Charleston offers a four-hour course that addresses the financial issues facing individuals in the early stages of retirement. Experienced and informed instructors will show you how to manage your entire nest egg and demystify the distribution-planning process. And there is more for seniors at the College of Charleston.
